Documentation and Wiki
The latest Mulgara documentation is found here. Running Mulgara servers also provide their own HTML copy of documentation as a part of the built in web services. This defaults to port 8080 on a running server, and can usually be accessed as http://localhost:8080/.
For the newest features, HOWTOs, architectural designs and discussions, there is also a Mulgara Wiki. Look in the Wiki first if you have questions. If the answers are not there, then we will put them up once you tell us about it. All new documentation will be on this stie before making it into the main documentation pages.
Community
You can participate in Mulgara by joining one of the mailing lists:
- Mulgara-General: For user support and discussions on using Mulgara and RDF.
- Mulgara-Dev: For developer discussion.
Issues
Mulgara has an issue tracking system here. This is the place to go to report or check on bugs and feature requests.
Developers
Mulgara now builds on Java 1.5 and Java 1.6. Java 1.6 is not fully supported, particularly on the Mac, as there is no official release of Java 1.6 yet.
The Mulgara source is a fork from the Kowari project, circa 1st of August 2005. Other than the new domain, the only difference is a set of updates which enables Mulgara to run on Java 1.5 and above. This is an upgrade over Kowari, which can only build on Java 1.4.
The source code to Mulgara is available through the Subversion repository. See the download page for details on getting a checkout.
For more information on our development process, see the Developers FAQ, or ask on one of the mailing lists.
Future
The current priority for Mulgara is a SPARQL implementation. An initial release should be available before the end of 2007.
New features for Mulgara are discussed on the Wiki.
Any help for Mulgara will be greatly appreciated. This includes:

- Promotion.
- Anything else you can think of...
Please let us know on the mailing list if you are able to help. We are mostly volunteers, so we appreciate your patience as we continue to grow.
